Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme OHFFSS Campbelltown

Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme | OHFFSS Campbelltown

At Bradbury Dental Surgery, our mission is clear: to ensure that everyone in the Campbelltown area can easily access top-notch dental care. As part of our commitment to your oral health, we are thrilled to introduce The Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme (OHFFSS) in Campbelltown.

What is OHFFSS?

OHFFSS is a government-funded dental program designed to provide discounted oral health care services to eligible individuals. It’s a solution for those facing challenges in accessing public dental services, particularly when immediate care is needed.

OHFFSS goes beyond financial support; it’s a way to make quality dental care more affordable for our community. By reducing the cost of oral health services, OHFFSS opens doors for those who might find it difficult to access public dental facilities.

How Does It Work?

The Oral Health Fee for Service Scheme (OHFFSS) streamlines access to dental care through collaboration with private businesses and practitioners. Here’s a clear breakdown of the process:

  • Private Providers: Local Health Districts (LHDs) partner with private businesses and practitioners, expanding the network of available dental care providers.
  • Vouchers for You: LHD representatives play a crucial role by directly issuing vouchers to eligible patients, ensuring a straightforward and accessible way for individuals to access the scheme.
  • Hassle-Free Redemption: Redeem your vouchers at our practice without any hassle. We’re committed to ensuring a smooth process for you to access the dental care you need.
  • Effortless Payment Handling: After completing your treatment with us, we take care of submitting the voucher to LHD for payment. Your focus remains on your oral health, and we handle the rest.
  • Transparent Pricing: Our commitment to transparency means that we follow the agreed-upon price schedule outlined in the OHFFSS Schedule of Fees. Your peace of mind is our priority.
  • Up-to-date Information: Rest assured that the Schedule of Fees is regularly updated, ensuring that you have access to the most current information. This schedule aligns with the Department of Veterans Affairs fee schedule, maintaining fairness and consistency.

At Bradbury Dental Surgery, we prioritize a straightforward, accessible journey to optimal oral health. Inquire about OHFFSS during your visit or contact us for details—your smile is our priority!

OHFFSS Voucher Campbelltown Types

OHFFSS vouchers are issued in emergency cases or when the public dental service cannot provide the required treatment. These vouchers are exclusively provided through the Priority Oral Health Program triage questionnaire or an authorized mechanism approved by NSW Health.

The type of voucher issued depends on the patient’s dental needs and the resources available to the public dental service. They are categorized into three types:

  1. Episodic Care: Designed to address urgent treatment needs, this voucher type prioritizes patients with immediate dental requirements.
  2. General Care: This comprehensive voucher covers a complete examination, catering to patients seeking a broader range of dental services beyond urgent needs.
  3. Denture Provision: Specifically tailored for patients requiring denture care, this voucher ensures coverage for denture-related treatments.

It’s recommended that OHFFSS voucher holders make an appointment with an approved private practitioner within ten days of receiving their voucher to avoid any potential expiration issues.
